In the Velen sea, lies the glorious land of Astraeus Primaris famed for its thrilling sporting events. More so, its people are beloved far and wide for their generosity, often known to gift local produce of olives and honey as tokens of friendship. Any traveler is welcome to test their mettle and receive hospitality in this warmhearted utopia.
Yet within, its people are shaken, for the voices of their gods have fallen silent. Save for one. Sedaeus, the god of darkness. Oracles have foretold of a great shadow upon the land, of thundering steps heralding frost and fire. As the night of a blood moon approaches, terrors abound in the minds of men. Some claim seeing spectres in their dreams, others visions of blood spilled on the cobblestones. All blinded by fear.
In this episode, live through the darkest night in the history of Astraeus. Face Sedaeus' torrent of wraiths unleashed upon the once-proud realm. Will you and Astraeus Primaris still be standing when the day finally dawns?
EPISODE 2: The BLINDED GOD
Astraeus Primaris, the jewel of its archipelago, is bathed in eternal summer, its days tinted with a golden glow. The city basks in the favour of its shining god, Aureus; his colossal, solid-gold likeness towering over the land, dwarfing even the tallest spires.
A fateful morning, citizens of Astraeus Primaris awaken to a blasphemous crime. The right eye of the statue of Aureus is missing; evidently gouged out. Outrage erupts and mass panic ensues. Fingers point at the Morghuli clad in robes of deepest scarlet as if their clothing heralded the sunset and downfall of mighty Aureus.
In this episode, find yourself in the maelstrom of chaos and tasked with providing the answers a furious and fearful populace demands. Navigate the volatile circumstances and soothe the people. Hurry, beware and proceed with utmost caution lest you yourself be accused or worse.
